It’s Faculty Friday! 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐲! This is Mrs. Bentley’s 2nd year at Wilkinson County High School. Mrs. Bentley is our Health Sciences Instructor and the advisor of our Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) organization at WCHS. Mrs. Bentley was inspired to become a teacher because she wanted to give back to her community and teach others her love of nursing. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with her grandbabies.

What inspired you to become a teacher? I wanted to give back to my community and teach others my love of nursing.
What three traits define you?  Honest. Compassionate. Caregiver.
What would you most like to tell your teenage self? Good budgeting skills are the key to successful saving.
What do you hope your students remember most about you as a teacher? My passion for Nursing and education.
Our school theme this year is "Anchored In Excellence", how do you work to bring that to life in your classes? I strive to make my classroom a place where students want to learn.
What do you work toward in your free time?  I work on improving my lesson plans to increase learning. I also work my PRN nursing job and spend time with my family.
What else do you want us to know about you? God first always. My family is the reason I breathe and my grand babies make my cup runneth over. I love arts and crafts and reading.
