Extracurricular activities are an important part of your college application. The things that you choose to do outside of the classroom help college admission officers understand your personality in a way that your grades and test scores can’t show.

The following clubs are accepting new members:

Technology Students Association (TSA): Applications can be picked up from P.Knight in his classroom. Membership dues are $15 and can be paid to Mr. P. Knight. New member enrollment will close on Friday, August 30.

Student Advisory Council: Applications are now available for students who want to be apart of the State Superintendent Student Council. These students will meet with Superintendent Woods to discuss the impact of state policies in the classroom, along with other issues related to education, and will serve as the Superintendent's ambassadors to their respective schools. Members will also engage in the community service projects to benefit Georgia students and schools. The application deadline is August 31.

BETA Club: Beta Membership is available until August 21. See Ms. Goodner to put your name on the list to be considered for membership.

  • You must be a member of the sophomore or junior classes.
  • Your most recent semester average must be 90 or above.
  • You must be of good moral character and have no major disciplinary incidents on your record.
  • You must be willing to serve your club, your school, and your community.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA): See Mrs. Bentley for HOSA membership applications before school or during 4th block. The fee is $30.00 and due by August 30, 2019. Please don't come during class time.
