Meet Mr. Bailey Miller! Mr. Miller currently serves as one of our Business Technology Instructors. This is his first year at WCHS and his first year as an educator.
He defines himself as passionate, creative, and intentional.
What is your personal philosophy?
My personal philosophy is to appreciate every breath in every way that I can and not taking the next one for granted as if it's promised.

How was your high school experience?
My high school experience was like something out of an ABC Family movie. I transferred into a new school, helped lead the football team, was a part of every "group." All in all it was years that I look back fondly on, but in no way was it my peak!

When did you realize you wanted to become a teacher?
I would say the desire to work in education was mostly realized for me by way of circumstance, but my passion for kids has always been there whether it be from helping lead youth groups, summer camps, or just wanting to help kids feel known. In a lot of ways, getting to teach helps me think back on me and my friends and consider what we needed in our phases of life- then turning around and trying to provide the students with that according to their needs.

If you could have any other job what would it be?
The one I get to go do every day when I clock out- be a Pastor!

Any advice to students of WCHS?
Don't let high school be your peak. In so many ways you're only just beginning and deserve far more that a life that peaks in high school. Use every day to build yourself, your future, and a perfect launching pad that you can take off from on the day of graduation- knowing, or at least having an idea of where you want to land in retirement.

What would you like to be your greatest accomplishment?
At the end of my life I wouldn't necessarily want to look back. I try to live each day with all that I've got so that I don't have to look back and question whether or not I did. Instead, my greatest accomplishment would be getting to look around me and see my wife and kids knowing I loved them with my whole heart, provided for them to the best of my ability, and cared for our family in such a way that they have every hope in the world.
What's the coolest (or most important) trend you see today?
Everyone is a unique creator! I hope students and everyone in general would see their individuality as something they can offer to the world rather than hold on to for themselves.

If you could be in any musical or movie what would it be?
Anything that would mean I'd get to be Michael B. Jordan's best friend..

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
In any free time I can squeeze together, I love to screen print t-shirts!
