Describe your senior year in three words.

Eventful, Crazy, and Nostalgic!

What are your plans after graduation?

I haven't made any concrete plan for after graduation yet. I am hoping to attend Mercer University in the Fall but I have yet to make a final decision on what to major in.

Who or what was most helpful or influential to you in your high school career, both in school and outside of school?

I consider myself pretty lucky to have had a lot of good people around me encouraging me to do my best. However, there was one teacher in my high school career who really made the biggest impact on me both in the classroom and on a personal level. Mr. Taelor Rye taught me many things; from analyzing an authors rhetoric to the intricacies of social justice. He was someone I knew I could come to with any problem and get advice or just to have someone to listen. I am so very thankful to have had him as a teacher.

In my spare time, I...

Well, when I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. When I'm with my friends we can be doing anything and still be having fun. I also enjoy just laying on my bed binge-watching Netflix like most teenagers.

What was your dream job as a kid? Are you still pursuing that same dream?

When I was really young I wanted to be a Veterinarian. Although I haven't thought much about it since third grade, I guess it's not off the table since I haven't decided my "dream".

hope to be a person who...

helps the people I surround myself with be happier than they were before they met me. I want to have a positive impact on the people around me.

What's something you wish everyone knew about you?

I know it might look like I have it all figured out and I know what I'm doing but I don't.

If you had the opportunity to travel anywhere, where you go? Why?

I would take my friends to Disney World so we could have a great time together.

Best advice ever given to me...

My father told me once that the most important thing you have is your name. In other words, do everything you do to the best of your ability. Do the work that makes you proud to say that you did that. This will be awarded with the respect of those around you, and that is something that will help you go father in life. I think that was pretty great advice.
